I wanted to make sure to get back here and thank you for choosing me to win the Welcoming Kitchen book!! I actually loved it so much when I had it from the library that I bought my own copy. My daughter who just graduated from college and is GF will be getting this copy as a gift. I am sure she will love it as much as I do! Thanks again for doing this giveaway!!

Thanks for sharing your review of the Welcoming Kitchen. I should really look into this book. I too am a breastfeeding mother with a son who has a few allergies… so I eliminated those allergens. I think I want to try the beer bread that you mentioned. That would be fun since my husband loves beer.

I am so excited to see more recipes from this book, as myself and my daughter with cerebral palsy have celiac. She also has a dairy allergy, which makes me even more excited! Thanks for opening my eyes to this book :-)

I made the carrot ‘pasta’ last night using yellow carrots and it was amazingly tasty for something so very simple (I left off the Daiya) and really easy. It doesn’t need a sauce at all and would make a great side dish variation on cooked carrots.
