I love this bread, but the cost is prohibitive for those on a limited income. When I do splurge, I make it in a bread machine, partially freeze it to help slicing, then slice very thin. I freeze it and only pull out what I need.

I just made my second loaf of this bread, and since I’m the only person eating it, this will be the only brand of bread I’ll make!! I’m tired of trying one recipe after another, and it’s always a toss up as to whether I’ll like them or not. I’ve made most of Bette Hagman’s bread recipes, but they still don’t compare. Perhaps the reason this brand is so good is the creator is a Chef!

I LOVE her bread mixes. I too cannot resist when my bread machine beeps and out comes that loaf I’ve been smelling. Now you’ve got me going and it’s almost bedtime. I’m baking her bread in the morning. I order it by the case so I always have some on hand. I like the mix without yeast to make flat bread too. The Herb mix is my favorite but I also have tried the pie crust, pumpkin, and banana. Now she has new mixes. I”m off to order those now!

I tried Bread of Anna a couple years ago and like you I loved it! Unfort, the cost kept me from making it again. No one local to me carries and with shipping, UGH! Maybe I’ll try it again as a special treat. Thanks Sea.
