We love nutritional yeast my little men call it sprinkle and eat it on Udi's bread, toasted with earth balance. The preferred pasta in our house is not with red sauce but with an earth balance, nutritional yeast and rice (or coconut) milk "sauce"--all made in one pot. I also use it in any traditional recipe that I am tweaking, about half vegan Parmesan and half nutritional yeast yields a yummy flavor. Somewhere I have a very good recipe for Vegetables and Dumplings (Nova Atlas might be the author) and she uses nutritional yeast for the sauce. It's one of my favorite condiments.
