The commercial made me laugh and laugh. Then I sent it to my husband, since he lived in Japan for a bit and misses it at times.

I just want to say thank you for your wonderful site that I have spent many an hour browsing recently! I will definitely try these recipes as I'm a lactose intolerant, non-gluten eater and thought that pizza was a thing I'd never eat again.

Keep up the great work!

Hi Diane,
I love nutritional yeast. Here's the URL for my recipes using it:
http://www.bookofyum.com/blog/category/nutritional-yeast
As you can see, I often use it for a breading along with flour or breadcrumbs where it gives a cheesy, savory flavor. I also make it into a vegetarian gravy.
You can also sprinkle it on popcorn (great w/ wf tamari) or grind it up with almonds as a parmesan substitute. There are some great "uncheese" cookbooks I highly recommend if you are interested in trying it in some cheesier recipes. :)

Cool. That's what I need, pizza. I can't eat gluten or dairy so these sound like winners to me. Cheese is over rated on a pizza. I purchased nutritional yeast but I'm not sure how to use it. What do you use it as a replacement for and what are the properties when using it? Thanks!!!
