Come to Mama! Yeah. [Thanks for visiting and leaving a trail of bread crumbs - er, Brussels Sprouts. ;-) I love this recipe and have added it to my post.] Happy Spring!

I love, love, love, beyond words, love brussel sprouts. Will definitely have to make this one. What is it about them? They are smelly as you know what, but they are so darn delicious.

I am definitely on the same page as you regarding buying locally produced food. But to think about going without avocados or olives, just to name a few things, I just couldn't do it. My compromise - I try to buy as much locally produced foods as I can. Before I buy something that might've been picked a week ago and trucked across the country or an ocean, I think about how far the food has come since it was picked, and then if it's something I absolutely can't do without, I buy it. But at least I have a consciousness about this subject, which is a good place to start making changes.

Ha - So true! I know, we should totally do something collaborative at some point! I just posted my brussels recipe but it's not the maple one. I added in a link to this recipe... maybe it will help you get some more traffic. (BTW, the maple one I made was just a recipe I found on RecipeZaar, I take no credit for it. But it sure was tasty!)

I love that veggie picture on this post

Haha, now who's the copycat??? Tee hee... we should really just merge our blogs into one. ;) I'm telling you, it's getting eerie- you made fresh stock, I made fresh stock. You make brussel sprouts, I make brussel sprouts. lol. (But this time at least I beat you to blogging about them, whahahahah...)

PS Still working on the damned RSS thing- so hard when the site is coded from scratch and just uses a blog engine for blog data. ugh. Wordpress is giving me a serious headache.

This is almost identical to a dish I made a few weeks ago, except that one had walnuts added. I think you will like the recipe I'm going to be posting later today! ;-P
