I'm hoping we'll be able to find some locally soon! I've always hated licorice-flavored foods and thought I disliked anise. What I've really disliked, however, is the super-strong flavor of black licorice candy. Not exactly the same thing as a nicely grilled piece of fennel. Thanks for the inspiration!
