LOL Sea - This is a great post!
I was diagnosed well after the beer-stage of life (at the ripe old age of 30!). I could NEVER figure out why drinking beer was so foul to me.. and why in the world I was so bloated, tired, dopey and ill after a half a beer. I think it was the commercials "Lighter vs Less Filling" fault for making me think that was a normal reaction to beer. LOL. Needless to say, I'm not a beer drinker. However, I'm excited to make these- they look delicious! Thanks for sharing this. =)

It is rare that someone likes beer the first few times you try it and you haven't had the chance to learn to love micro brews since you have been GF for your whole life. Delicious IPA's and Porters (ales) can't compare to Redbridge (which is more like a Labatt as it is lagered, which resultes in a very different style of beer). Ramapo is disgusting. Sorry I had to say it. I bought a six pack at Whole Foods, had my beer buddies (all homebrewers aka beer snobs to the rest of the world) try it and we all poured our tasters out. I actually returned it (5 bottles) to the store for a refund. Bard's Tale isn't too bad, New Grist from Wisconsin is better, but I believe they are all lagers.
How is your homebrew turning out? I am guessing it will be an ale, since lagering on your first beer isn't likely, so therefore, it should be tasty, but likely an unfamiliar taste to you. When I finally bottle mine, maybe I will ship you a bottle, if that is possible. I also make loads of hard cider, which is super easy if you want to know how, all you need is fresh cider, preferably unpasturized and yeast, the rest of the equipment you have from making beer. I tend to enjoy mine on the dry tarty side vs sweet.
By the way, my "Spelt" Challenge will end on Monday when I have an endoscope to see what the results are from 5 weeks of eating spelt. So far, no reaction, just really tasty breads. By the way, I am so impressed with the height of your loaf of bread below in an earlier post. I will give that recipe a try!
