I ate there once before I went gluten-free. My husband and I went there one night after leaving a birthday a party because we were both pretty hungry. I had no idea what I could have so imagine my excitement when I opened the menu and saw gf pizza on the menu along with gf beer. Unfortunately, they were out of the dough at the time, but I went back a few days later to try it. I find the crust a bit on the sweet side, but I love that I can top it with all manner of veggies that I want. I also love going there with friends and being able to feel “normal” since I can have pizza like everyone else. In fact, I went to lunch there a few weeks ago with a friend from work and gave her a little piece of my crust to try because she was curious. She liked it and said she’d eat the pizza not knowing it’s gf. :D

I love the idea of doing GF restaurant reviews here in Colorado. Would love any advice you have about how you work with the restaurant (or if you even do at all, maybe you don’t tell them?). I look forward to visiting a good friend in SF and hitting all kinds of places like this in the area. I miss the coast!

Thank you for posting this – following the links I found one in Austin. Rita and I do sandwiches at Jason’s and now we can do pizzas at BJ’s. The ‘Brewhouse’ part of the name would have put me off so the details of your findings are greatly appreciated.

Sounds delicious, between the Italian Market Salad and the pizza, I’d have a hard time choosing! We don’t have any here in NM, but perhaps next time I am visiting family in OH or FL we will hit it up! Awesome! And I love hearing that you had no tummy rumbles. :-)

Haven’t eaten there, but I’ve seen the one in KY and passed it by, thinking there was little I could eat. Will put it on the list of ok places to stop!
