I love this stuff so much! I used to live next to a tapioca express. There are quite a few in northern CA, but none that I know of in Monterey :( Boba Tea basically iced tea (you can pick from a pretty wide variety) and they put tapioca balls in the glass too. You drink it through a big straw and get to chew on the gummy tapioca "pearls" at the same time. I haven't had it since I found out I can't eat gluten, but it seems theoretically OK.
